Ingredients

Topping

  • honey

Rest of ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • Egg
  • 3 tbsp. oil
  • 3 tbsp. milk powder
  • 1 tsp. Instant Yeast
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • tsp. salt

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cup brown flour
  • cup flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tbsp. nigella

Preparation

 

1- Mix all dry ingredients together.

2- Blend the other ingredients in a blender well .

3- Add the liquid mixture to dry mixture , then knead it by hands until it starts to pull into a good thick ball .

4- Leave to rise in a warm place for one hour .

5- Next , knead and shape the dough into small rounds.

6- Pour oil into a deep frying pan. Drop the tawah sheets into the oil . When they  come up, flip them. Now it will puff up.

7- Before serving add some honey.
