Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 12 slice brioche bread
  • 4 tbsp. Butter - room temperature to coat the tray

Sauce

  • 3 tbsp. water
  • 1 cup blueberries - Frozen or fresh
  • 1 Spoon sugar
  • 1/2 lemon juice

Egg mixture

  • 5 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1.1/2 tsp. Vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Lemon zest
  • 4 tbsp. Brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. cardamom
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Preparation

1-We coat the tray with butter

2-Mix eggs with cheese, milk, vanilla, lemon peel and salt with a blender

3-In another bowel we mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, hail and nutmeg

4-We cut the bread into slices

5-We dip every slice in the egg mixture and turn over and spread brown sugar on it and line it up in the tray. Spread on it the rest of the egg mixture and continue sprinkling brown sugar from above

6-We place in the oven at 180 degrees from bottom for 40mins and toast from the top a bit

7-To make the berries in a small bowel we mix the berries with sugar and lemon juice and cook on a medium fire until it becomes heavy and cooked in 10mins

 

Comments

*Dip the bread slice for 20 seconds in the mixture so that it sucks in the sauce then sprinkle on the sugar but not too much.

In the end we sprinkle the edges of the bread with sugar and place in the oven

*The rest of the ingredients we pour into the tray in the empty spaces until it seeps to the bottom without passing through the slices bread

*We use 12 slices and was enough

*You don't need to cover with foil
