Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 chicken - cut in quarters
  • 5 piece onion - small
  • cinnamon
  • Bay Laurel Leaves
  • piece cardamom

Rest of ingredients

  • 2 cup moroccian
  • 1 can chick peas
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. mixed spices
  • 1 tbsp. Caraway - crushed
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp. Butter
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 head onion, sliced

Preparation

1- Cook chicken with water, onion, and whole spices.
2- Now take the chicken and remove  the bones and skin. Make sure to retain the broth.
3- Fry the cooked onion and little oil.
4- Cook the mograbiyah for 15 minutes. Stir while cooking. Now remove the water.
5- In a sauce pan put oil and onion.
6- Add chicken then the mograbiyah , chick peas and ground spices and 2 cups of chicken broth. Add the fried onion.
7- Cook for 10 minutes more and then serve with yoghurt salad
